The rules of wedding etiquette continually changes and evolves. Rules observed a decade ago may no longer be relevant today. Below are a few updated wedding Etiquette Donts that a Bride, Groom and Guest have to follow.
* When sending out wedding invitations. It is considered good etiquette to try and find out who your guests would most likely bring to the ceremony. Avoid writing down ’and guest’ on your invites. Taking this extra step would help your guests feel more welcome to your nuptials.
* Do not put your wedding registry details on the invites themselves, nor should you request for cash-only gifts. Those details should be circulated by yourself or your friends and family.
* If it is your second marriage, it is bad etiquette let your parents pay for your wedding. The bride of a second marriage is also not advised to wear a veil to carry orange blossoms in her bouquet. However, it is still acceptable to wear white.

Organizing your own wedding can be full of challenges. Because of these challenges, there are some things that are often overlooked. One of these things is the wedding invitation.
However, do you know that this is just one of the aspects of your wedding planning that should never be overlooked? In fact, this is often the very first thing that your guests will know of your wedding plans.
This is also the wedding aspect where problems first occur. So, to avoid unexpected oversights in your wedding plans, you may need to do a little research especially on wedding invitation etiquette.
The first part of the wedding invitation etiquette is the proper way of addressing your wedding invitation envelopes. Here are the basics:
1. Always use Miss for divorced female guests.
2. If it’s okay for your guest to bring a date, place the invitee’s name on the outer envelope and add “and Guest” on the inner envelope.
